The Role

Large food production facility seeking a talented cook that possesses the following characteristics:

  • Strong cooking foundation and technique
  • Knowledge of a variety of cuisines across the globe
  • Ability to multi-task, work clean, organized and efficiently
  • Take direction well and give direction/delegate with prep cooks as needed
  • Bilingual is a MAJOR plus
  • Respectful team player with sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, ambition and desire to learn and grow with company
  • Serious and passionate about a career

Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • At least 1 year of experience working with and handling food; working in a catering environment is a plus
  • Ability to work solo or on a team
  • Organized and have an eye for detail
  • Reliable and on time
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Must have a valid food handler card
  • Knowledgeable about food ingredients and allergens preferred
  • Meet with chefs daily to review menus and ingredients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Exercise creativity and attention to detail in setting up beautiful buffet arrangements
  • Provide client feedback to operations team in order to perfect service
